Musician Nick Cave was invited to record a version by Russell Crowe and Sir Ridley Scott
Tale
After his home is overrun by the tyrannical emperors who now rule Rome, Lucius is forced into the Colosseum and must look to his past to find the strength to return the glory of Rome to his people.. In the years since the release of the first movie, there were many attempts to write a sequel. His version focused on the more mythical elements of Ancient Rome and would have seen Maximus arrive in the afterlife only to face other souls yet to ascend further. He is eventually tasked by Jupiter and other Roman deities to return to earth to find and kill Hephaestus, a former deity who betrayed them. From there he is resurrected as a Christian and finds himself traveling back to Rome on a mission to stop the spread of Christianity until he crosses paths with the new Emperor Lucius. The film would end with Maximus cursed to live forever, featuring a montage of the soldier fighting through the Crusades, World War II, and the Vietnam War, eventually revealing a modern-day Maximus working in the Pentagon in Washington. The studio decided not to go through with this version, but the script is available to read online..
Emperor Geta: The Gods have SPOKE!
Featured on The 7PM Project: Episode of 3 July 2024 (2024). I saw the premiere in Sydney. The plot is richer and more emotional than the first. Everyone’s acting is great, Paul did a great job! Denzel has a great talent for comedy and has contributed many funny storylines. I personally don’t think it’s gory at all. There are a lot of fight scenes and it’s very cool.
To summarize the flaws: 1
The ending is very emotional and has many touching parts. Some dialog editing switches too often. I personally don’t like this method of editing. I prefer to use a slightly longer shot to focus on one person (preferably the main character) so that I can capture the slight changes in the person’s face during the dialogue.2. The sea water in front is too real to look fake. Sea water is too blue and perfect, which often creates the opposite effect. 3.
(Not sure)p
As far as historical rationality goes, I don’t think people at the time had a definite understanding of the concept and appearance of the god of death. S. This is a script adapted from the story. No need to worry about the originality of the script. Therefore, it is unnecessary to care whether the second is a remake of the first. People say they want to see a sequel, but they don’t want the script to be too related to the previous one. This statement itself is controversial.
But the second clearly says it’s an adaptation
If we have to see a completely different story, then we have to list it as an original script. You can judge the screenplay adaptation, but if you’re not happy with its originality, maybe you should rewrite the history book.
