Extra Willis Wu witnesses a crime in Chinatown while filming a TV series. During the investigation, he uncovers a criminal network and experiences the life in the spotlight he has always dreamed of. Yang), Fat (Ronny Chieng), and Carl (Chau Long) meet with Detective Lana Lee (Chloe Bennet) on TV and discuss her possible ethnicity: Carl explains, “She looks like a Thai,” while Fat insists, “Man, she’s definitely Korean. Know your Asians.” In reality, Bennet is the child of a white mother and a Chinese father.
I don’t know: I like it
Early in her acting career, she changed her last name from Wang to Bennet (her father’s name) after casting agents said they couldn’t cast her for Asian or Asian-American roles, but her first name wouldn’t be considered for white roles either. I wasn’t too impressed at first, but I like the lead actor, so I had to watch more. He does a great job and it’s really fun to watch. Some of the dialogue in it is funny and of course very funny.
A TON OF LAUGHTER
I’m afraid to say more because I don’t want to give it away. But I recommend you stick with it. If only to see these two beautiful ladies who always look perfect. And the other cop – what a scream.
