I was completely captivated by the movie from start to finish. Every moment kept me on the edge of my seat and I was never bored for a second. The settings are simply stunning and every scene is a real masterpiece, especially the castle of Monte Cristo. The soundtrack is equally majestic and heightens the emotion of each key moment. As for Pierre Nigna, he is simply brilliant in the lead role. He portrays Edmond Dante with such intensity and depth. His performance clearly captures the character’s evolution from an innocent sailor to a vengeful vigilante on the brink of self-destruction. A special mention also goes to the actress who plays Haydée: she completely steals the show. Your presence is magnetic. Overall, this movie is a masterpiece that never lets up and is definitely worth a watch.
